WilsonPro 4g Modem Booster

This is NOT a cell phone booster, this is an inline Machine to Machine (M2M) booster. This goes between your antenna and your Modems antenna ports.

I have two of these and currently use only one due to it not boosting B71. Retail price is $300-$400 but I am willing to take any reasonable offer. I ...

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

"Latest firmware" and "Voxel" are mutually exclusive if you are referring to the latest stock firmware; Voxel is a separate firmware based on 2.5.2.20 GPL sources that Netgear provides. Yes, I recommend running Voxel as it's compiled directly for the hardware and lets us have a lot of nice ...

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

The LBR20 checks the boxes you are looking for technically but be aware that for ID change and band locking you will need to from the command line and be comfortable with the Quectel AT command syntax (lots of examples in the OP and elsewhere on these forums); these are not things which can be ...

This is bizarre is it not? How do they not know exactly what CA combinations there are?

Re: Calyx & T-Mobile Bands

I get about 50-60mbps / 1-4mbps on tmobile using the M1. I'm using 2 parabolic antennas and I'm about 90ft below the ridge I'm shooting over at a tower about 4 miles away.

Yes it will work. There's no B71 though, if B71 is really good in your area you might want to consider a newer modem build that ...

Re: 5G multi-carrier M.2 modem

At the time when I posted about the Simcom SIM8200EA-M2, the SIM8202G-M2 wasn't available yet, which is now a better option than the original. I'm still using a SIM8200EA-M2 along with a Samsung S9 tethered to the router via USB and MWAN failover, which works great on Tmobile/SimpleMobile. Here's ...

FS: Cel FI Go X

I purchased this back in IIRC May, so it's not very old. I bought it because the hotspot I was using at the time did not have external antenna ports... until I found out it did and they were hidden. After using them, I realized I was better off. I'd keep this thing to boost my cell service but it ...

Re: WG1608D-M, Quectel EM160R-GL, Calyx not staying connected

hi Reuleaux, any progress.

I'm also having very similar issue, that the connection drops at 2min mark. My setup:
WG3526 + EM160R-GL (firmware: A07) on minipci to m.2 card using Calyx sim with GlobalOrb firmware dated 5/12.
The AT command debug log pattern is similar. Didnt notice anything obvious ...

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

I'm looking for a better device than my Nighthawk M1 for Tmobile / Sprint. Would this device on it's latest firmware still be a good option? My requirements are that I need an ID change and preferably band locking as well, and external MIMO antennas.

I'd also prefer to create multiple SSIDs with ...

Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports

I know that this thread is a bit old, but I’ve done some simple tests using the internal antenna connectors.

I wasn’t happy with the drilling holes in the front strategy, so I modified the board a bit and soldered on a couple of U.FL connectors alongside the proprietary antenna connectors. Don’t ...
