Re: LTE Modems/Sim card plans (interest check)
It's prepaid, but not sure if it was specific to jetpack. I currently use my Cradlepoint CBA850 with the sim, have for about two years with no issues.

Re: LTE Modems/Sim card plans (interest check)
Yes, I acquired one of the ATT plans from someone else and they are transferable. Yes, Verizon used to have a data only unlimited plan for hotspots then got rid of it about 2 years ago. The plan I kept with Verizon works in any device; Cradlepoint, Nighthawk, etc..

LTE Modems/Sim card plans (interest check)
Just got my starlink up and running so no need for my LTE setup. I had 5 separate LTE plans due to work and kids distance learning as well as tv streaming. Have 2 ATT grandfathered ipad $35 unlimited simplans with repaired IMEI Nighthawk M1's, so they don't get shut down. Have 1 grandfathered ...

Re: ATT Unlimited Prepaid
Thanks, my local ATT store rep seems to not want to sign me up without a phone plan, so may just call ATT directly.

Modem/Tether Questions
Hoping BIlla will chime in on this one. It looks like carriers are actively locking out 4G modems more frequently with newer prepaid sim cards/plans. I'm starting to think direct tethering will be one of the few options moving forward.

Re: MOFI4500 Locking Up, Dropping Internet - AT&T
I never used my Mofi router wifi, was too weak and unreliable for my needs. I would suggest disabling wifi on the Mofi and just connecting a standard, more powerful wifi router via ethernet ports.

Re: Options for hotspot with AT&T Unlimited Elite plan?
If possible I would try to stay with ATT since you'll get priority data and resellers seem unreliable these days. You can go to a retail store and try to get the ATT ipad standalone plan $20. With that sim you should be able to use pretty much any unlocked 4G router.

I have the Franklin T9, just arrived. The speed is incredibly slow, like 0.1mbs, anyone aware if they throttle speed for the test drive?

ATT Unlimited Prepaid
Can't seem to find the answer but can I setup the $50 Unlimited plan ($75 -$25 autopay) to work with either my Mofi or CBA850? Or is it phone connection only? Thank you.
