WE826-T2 with Quectel EP06 on Sprint
I have a WE826 I bought here a couple years ago and it works fine. We have a second connection now (both from Calyx) but the wifi on the hotspot is too weak... after looking everywhere for another wifix WE826 all I could find was a new WE826-T2 with a quectel modem on ebay. It said it works with ...

Re: Looking for load balancing router suggestions
The 826 wifi stopped working long ago so it's already hooked to a router. The mobile device doesn't have a port to hook it to a router. It also doesn't have a good antenna so we're getting about half the speed it's capable of. (And for whatever reason it does just as poorly when I hook it to the ...

Re: Looking for load balancing router suggestions
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to get from that thread. I asked because I already did quite a bit of searching here and elsewhere and couldn't find anything useful.

Looking for load balancing router suggestions
I currently have a 826 using one Sprint LTE connection with an antenna pointed directly at the tower. I have a second connection (same service/tower) via a mifi device. I'd like to know if I can use the current router for load balancing (can I put in a second MC7455 and the second sim?) or is there ...

Re: LTE connected, Router connected, no internet.
When I cycled the power (tried it about 3 times) it came up the same way. I take the sim and put it into the pocketwifi and I get internet access from there. I put the sim back in the router, it connects, it can ping and tracert the wrt site so the modem/sim are definitely connected to the internet ...

LTE connected, Router connected, no internet.
A few weeks ago, the power went out. When it came back up the router came back up and connected to LTE, and I could connect via wifi and ethernet, but the internet connection is not available to any of the devices connected via wifi or ethernet. I spent several hours to finally get it back to ...

Re: Disconnected and just stopped working
Ok so "deregistered" is something that was done by the tower and not something wrong with my setup? (I tried googling that and various settings and couldn't find what it meant.) Is there anything in particular that causes this, anything I need to be doing or not doing to avoid getting deregistered?

Re: Disconnected and just stopped working
Went through the whole reset. It didn't help. Still no sign at all that it is even attempting to connect and I can't find any way to get it to tell me what is happening, whether it's attempting, or some sort of result code. My signal strengths are all within reasonable values, although I notice that ...

Disconnected and just stopped working
Ok, I was trying out my setup, I have a yagi antenna outside and a 7455 modem in an 826 router, connected via ethernet to my laptop. I hooked everything up, and uploaded about 1.3gigabytes at 10mbps while adjusting the antenna to find the best signal I could get. Just after the upload finished, the ...

Re: New setup is slower than my hotspot
Ok, I took the rig in the car and (in the middle of the night) parked at the best spot near the tower and ran some tests, here are my results: - hotspot maxed out at 10 mbps both ways. - Router with regular antennas got about 24mbps down and 9 up. (I think it was about 91% signal strength.) - Router ...

Re: New setup is slower than my hotspot
I updated the firmware to the above and no significant change. I was able to get a semi-decent (compared to the hotspot) 11 mbps downstream if I got the yagi in an ideal position. I think I will have to hook up the router to an inverter in the car and drive to a spot near the tower where the signal ...

New setup is slower than my hotspot
I set up an 826 with an MC7455 modem in it today, and it's slower than the ZTE I was replacing. (The SIM is from the ZTE.) I went from 10mbps to about 5, and the upstream is far worse, more like 1-3 mbps. :/ The router gets a signal strength of about 79-81, whereas my phone (same Sprint network ...
