Re: NEXS2GO Selecting SA Bands

I'm not to worried about the speeds I know things will differ some between phones and Routers, WiFi and LAN connections but more on why I can't select SA bands in the GUI. I thought 1,520 Mbps converted to 1.5 GBs. I'm able to reach speeds of 1,520 Mbps via my OnePlus 11 phone using the T tablet ...

NEXS2GO Selecting SA Bands

Didn't see anything on this with the little google fu I could do.
Tower had some upgrades recently and gives me an AVG D/L speed of 1.5 GB down on my phone and 80 ish D/L on my WiFiX. I know I can do better :D
The bands are here but when De-selecting ALL NSA bands and selecting SA bands the SA ...

Re: NBR750 Python errors

This telnet-enable2.py 192.168.1.1 [MyMACAddress] admin [RouterPW] needs to be typed in Command Prompt NOT Python.

I gave up on this many months ago but pulled the ORBI out of the closet yesterday to try to reset it so I can sell it. I noticed my problem was the " File" I downloaded from GITHUB ...

Re: Leaving MOFI off to bigger and better things

Hello everyone
Thanks to Everyone here and Richard I am now using the NEXQ6GO-U and my original MC7455. Everything is currently working i've had some TTL hiccups hopefully I got it figured out now.
My ASUS router is a TM-AC1900 FCCID MSQ-RTAC68U So I thinks it's one I can't flash or whatever. It's ...

Re: Leaving MOFI off to bigger and better things

You could also use a cheap Android phone as a modem, course with no external antennas.

My hunting cabin is directly under a tower. I've only been able to use PDANET and things of the like to directly tether the phone to a computer. Could you direct me to a link on the site explaining how to ...

Re: T-Mobile outdoor antenna shopping

Ok I think I understand it now. Before investing in a 4 port modem and a 4x4 mimo antenna I need to borrow a Galaxy S9, Pixel 3 or phone with the Cat18 modem or similar in it and do a real speedeest at my towers. I have a Router coming tomorrow :) to get me going in the meantime!

Re: Leaving MOFI off to bigger and better things

1. Have you tried to install Rooter/golden orb firmware on it since you have nothing to loose. Realize you say it isn't responsive but you could try the boot loader method.

Re: Leaving MOFI off to bigger and better things

You can extend the mobile router's ethernet or usb port, it's a matter of personal preference.
The advantage of the usb port extension is that you can leave the mobile router indoors for easier tweaking, diagnostics, and protection from the heat or cold. It also allows you to use the mobile router ...

Re: T-Mobile outdoor antenna shopping

Wonderful thank you. So technically if a modem was to ever have six ports in reality it could be 6x6. The tower offerings don't matter? In all reality I personally won't see much a difference between 50mbps and 300. I stream TV shows and surf the web. Plus it's fun to show all your friends your ...

Re: T-Mobile outdoor antenna shopping

I previously had a SIM 4 MOFI with a Proxicast 11 dBi Yagi (698-2700 MHz)installed outside my window on a 6' Pole. With 25' Low-Loss LMR240 Size Coax N Male to SMA Male Jumper Cable. The secondary port using the paddle antenna on the router sitting on my mantle. I've averaged 30-50 Mbps when the ...

Re: T-Mobile outdoor antenna shopping

So is it basically a gamble? Buy the 4x4 antenna and modem then hope for the best? Or is there something to look at saying yes... This tower will allow X amount of mimo? I really like the idea of mounting everything In the The Wireless Haven 4x4 mimo antenna but don't want to be pissing away money ...

Re: Mofi 4500 Input power

Adding a booster doesn't necessarily mean that you're amplifying the carrier signal. When trying to amplify a weak incoming signal, a booster can and will amplify the noise as well. So while your dbm levels are good, the actual signal quality may not be. You said you're driving a truck. I would ...

T-Mobile outdoor antenna shopping

I live in a very flat rural area. I am dumping my MOFI and moving onto better things. I've been a Cellmapper for quite a few years now. I'm a huge T-Mobile fan, supporter almost tower landlord lol. Anyways I am trying to redo my home setup and get confused by the term MIMO. 2x2. 3x3, 4x4!! I know ...

Leaving MOFI off to bigger and better things

I'm glad I stumbled across this wonderful forum, I've been browsing for 2 weeks and have been overwhelmed with information.
I would like to ask a few question and clear a few things up before dropping some money on a new setup.

Short back story to start. For 8 years I paid Verizon DSL $59 a month ...
