Your antenna choices likely will require several adapters as one uses N connectors and the other uses RP-SMA. For cable you need 50 ohm rated. On the low loss side that means LMR-100 up to LMR- 600. On standard cable types that would be RG-58. You can google loss per foot.

You could try a inexpensive MIMO indoor antenna and see if it gains you anything. It might help if your modem router setup does not have internal antennas. Many modem routers don't. That is why they have whip or paddle antennas. Your cell phone likely has at least two internal and maybe 4 antennas.

The most practical thing is just add longer cable. The amount of loss is likely minimal even with connectors to extend length.
You also do not have to expose your modem/router to the elements nor need a doohickey POE setup.

One thing also to watch for is AT&T has a whitelist of devices they will allow and your modems IMEI may be an issue. Your I-phone would not be an issue as it is on AT&T accepted LTE list.

Oh BTW, change the routers IP before mucking with turning off the M1 IP bypass if the routers administration access URL is also 191.168.1.1.
Do it without being connected to the M1. Saves on hassle.

If only one TS-9 port being used your antenna is not MIMO.
A MIMO antenna will have two cable connections, Inside the MIMO antenna is actually two separate antennas Cross Polarized. If you buy only individual antennas you need two that are setup at 45 degrees apart per instructions.

It is very easy to go through GB of data when streaming movies or TV shows. This has nothing to do with the TTL settings but everything to do with the quality of the movie d/l such as SD (480P), HD (1080P) or 4K. Because you have a 100gb limit you might want to stream in SD or HD to limit your usage.

Re: AT&T shutoff of 3G February 2022 may affect you.
Just got done fully transferring my Cricket account to the Netgear Mr1100 and it took over 3 hours to update the firmware. I worried that it was stuck and tried a couple of power offs and back on (it tells you not to before going blank). However after removing the sim and giving some extra time it ...

I repeat this again - I think there are people out there who live in the city or very near a city with wired options available, abuse the hell out of their LTE connections.
The impact of telcos trying to curb these abusive behaviorw and people for who wireless is going to be the ONLY option ...

You can spend a lot of money and likely do no better and perhaps not as good then your Comcast setup. I got into cellular internet because there was only Dialup and sat internet available to me where I live. If cable Internet was available I would never have gone through all the other hoops.

Test your upload speed with the supplied whip antennas for your WG3526. You might get worse download but it could give you the upload that you need.

Download is the tower sending to you. Upload is you sending to the tower. What bands you run on will definitely affect this. So will types ad pointing of antenna setups. If I run on Band 12 only by not using my outdoor antenna I get about 3-12mbs down and 5-6mbs up. When connected to the antenna I ...

I think you will find that traveling full time in a RV with wife and 3 children will provide you with many limitations besides Internet access. However speaking about AT&T shutdown of their 3G network come Feb 22. I have researched it as much as possible and, unless AT&T relents, any device not on ...

I stay within TOS. That way I can demand the company I deal with to live up to their end of the bargain.
Probably put the WG3526 with the EM7565 up for sale.

I found something else of interest about this shutdown by searching for AT&T IOT impact. This page here https://iotdevices.att.com/att-iot/3GSunset.aspx gives an explanation and also has a link to what they call modules (modem chipsets) that will work with AT&T some needing a patch to do so.

Re: LBR20 configuration and Visible Wireless
Unfortunately the notification you are getting only suggest the problem might be the APN. It says if you are still unable to connect (with a valid APN) that you need to contact your provider. There are some here that run Visible that are likely able to give you some help. I will say that your issue ...

You are not running the Samsung so it being compatible is meaningless. Your device IMEI will be reported as the LBR20. The LBR20 IMEI is not compatible if you enter it at Crickets checker. Will Cricket (AT&T) shut it down? Your guess is as good as mine. However for me I use this for my home internet ...

Can't find any I3 mobile with internet search so hard to say if they have a APN they need. Interesting that you could get online in the past without a APN set unless it populated itself via your sim.
If you have a data sim from someone else you could check your hardware is OK.

Re: WE826GO-U Connection Issue
I see that you have AT&T as the provider. Is your APN set correctly for the MVNO you are using? Also with AT&T it is entirely possible that they decided to block you. (By the way your 100% signal strength is amazing.)

Thanks. I would prefer a more regular cellular router like the Orbi or the LM1200 but if the only thing they will allow for AT&T is the mobile hotspot devices like the Nighthawk then I guess it is what it is.

Rather a no brainer is it not? Get your money back and start over. I have read that there are people using the Nighthawk with Verizon but I have no personal experience. Lot of times what worked previously will not work now or shortly in the future.

Would someone that has a Orbi LBR20 do a IMEI check at Cricket https://www.cricketwireless.com/cell-ph ... your-phone to see if it is compatible? If not likely AT&T is also going to turn these off come Feb. 2022 as being 3G devices.

Re: I don't know what to buy anymore
Which modem module did you get in the unit? They have different options for different carriers.
ATT sells a mobile hotspot plan with 100GB of data for $55, you can order online or get it at any ATT store. Should work great as long as the modem used is on their whitelist of compatible modems.
Do ...
