Re: Just bought a wg1608v4 and Rm500q-ae from ebay
Awesome!
I have heard that there is a small resistor/jumper that was not soldered in place on the models that are having the issue. Placing a jumper fixes the issue.
Was it intentional or just a missed component when assembled? You would think they would have caught something like that but ...

Re: Just bought a wg1608v4 and Rm500q-ae from ebay
I currently have a v4 running wifix firmware paired with an RM502Q-AE that doesn’t appear to be affected by this problem. I attached a screenshot of the uptime, it has gone longer, but I manually reboot it every now and then.

Re: Quectel RM502Q-AE Diagnose Random Connection Loss
"more stable on the Ethernet protocol"
its not, I tested already switching over to ECM and the difference is the modem's usb ports completely disappear when the TX hang happens. Under QMI at least I can issue AT commands.
Ok thanks for the update, and yes I have mine now in QMI protocol and it ...

Re: Quectel RM502Q-AE Diagnose Random Connection Loss
I have the same issue and have been posting in the ROOter OpenWRT forums about it
Mine is in a WG1608 from The Wireless Haven and I have to reboot the router to get the modem to reconnect
It happens anywhere from 4 or 5 times in a row to every 24 hours.
I have a case open with Quectel and they've ...

Re: Quectel RM502Q-AE Diagnose Random Connection Loss
I’m having the same issue here recently with the same card but installed in a usb sled/WG3526 combo. Debug window doesn’t show anything but running at+cfun=1,1 seems to reset it too.

Re: Thermostat wont stay connected
If anyone cares I just wanted to update my post. I got tired of messing with the settings and didn’t really want to reflash the router as I didn’t think that was the true problem; instead I decided to ditch the thermostat and start over. I read many reviews that a lot of the Honeywell thermostats ...

Re: Thermostat wont stay connected
Im sorry Bill but I dont really know where to start on reflashing the router. I bought this unit and it was pre-configured for me, except I did the DMZ part after I received it.

Re: Thermostat wont stay connected
It could also have something to do with the carrier's IP assignment. Most carrier do not assign a public IP, instead they use an internal one. Even if it used to work prior to WE1326, it's possible that the carrier has made some changes since.
If accessing your thermostat works from within the LAN ...

Re: Thermostat wont stay connected
Hello,
This is interesting.
How comfortable are you around computers? I am asking because If I were you then I would install Wireshark and check all traffic coming from/to the thermostat. I would try to sniff the traffic between WE1326 and WRT3200ACM and on the WAN interface of WE1326 and most ...

Hello, new member here but I've been around for a minute outside of these forums; I am now reaching out for more help to see if I can fix this dilemma I am currently in. I've asked some of you already so you may have heard this, but for the others here it goes..
