Re: Will t-mobiles 20$ tablet plan work with mofi 4500?
Yes I’ve considered getting simple mobile because of the price. But the thing is I live in a pretty rural area. And I don’t get as much coverage as t-mobile.
Simple mobile runs on the t-mobile network. We had been on DSL that maxed out at around 2.4 Mb/s for the past 5 years. Definitely ...

Re: Room for improvement?
Thanks for the chart, that's definitely helpful.
I'm currently picking up bands 2/4/5/12, but 5 lists "no service" when i lock to it. 4 Seems to be available but the signal is too weak to use. I suppose if I upgrade the rig and put the antennas on the roof I may be able to take advantage of that ...

After upgrading the antennas I've seen as fast ...

Room for improvement?
Running a mofi4500 with 2 15dbi flat pannel antennas set up at a tower facing window in my basement. Connected to tmobile tower on a simple mobile plan. Tower is 3.11 miles away with no ground in the way. Probably hitting some trees on the edge of my property, but straight shot past that.

Activate SIM without phone
Looking to get my Mofi4500 set up with T-Mobile or Simple Mobile, but I do not have a T-Mobile or unlocked phone to activate the sim. What's the process here? Do I need to purchase somebodies old device on ebay or something to get it activated?
