Re: Netgear LB1120 4G modem
Timc4444, Yes, the Netgear LB1120 should be unlocked. I ran a Netgear LB1120 with one of my AT&T sim cards for about six months. I had it up on the roof in a Nema 6 enclosure with a mimo antenna I picked up on Amazon for $25 or so. It worked ok, but would drop down to 3g (from LTE) and internet ...

Modem temperature - what is within range?
Folks, I've got a WG3526 with an MC7455 using an AT&T sim card. I've noticed at times the modem temperature will be as high as 65 degrees (celsius). Is this an acceptable temperature? I would think cooler is better? Has anyone installed a small 12v fan in their WG3526? Or set up an external fan on ...

Re: WG3526 with MC7455 - one LTE antenna or two?
Folks,
Just to follow up, I connected a second Cisco 4G-LTE-ANTM-D antenna to the AUX port on the MC7455. It is spaced about 30" from the main antenna. I see no difference in signal speed and download speed. I'll stick with one antenna for simplicity. Thanks!

Re: WG3526 with MC7455 - one LTE antenna or two?
gscheb,
Correct, I have only one antenna connected to the Sierra Wireless MC7455 card. It is connected to the MAIN antenna port. I will try connecting another antenna to the AUX antenna port and see if it makes any changes in signal strength or download speed.

WG3526 with MC7455 - one LTE antenna or two?
Folks, I've been reading the forum for quite some time and have my first question. First some background: I live in a rural area in Virginia and am about five miles away from the only cellphone tower in the area. It is hilly with lots of trees and I do not have line of sight to the tower. Sprint and ...
