I have an issue with the em12-g while using it with a Mikrotik router which I guess has a known bug with the EM12GPAR01A21M4G firmware.
Anyone have a copy of the previous 1 version that is supposed to not have the issue? Also current flashing utility? (I need EM12GPAR01A20M4G )
Thanks!!!

I'm gutting mine and as it turns out the holes inside that hold in the PCB happen to exactly line up with two of the holes on the WE826-T2.

I tried mine in the 4000D and nothing no matter what today.
I moved mine into a we826-T2 with an em7511 and it works great using 311 490 and locked to band 41.

I had the same thing yesterday. I noticed that the regular MCC MNC 310 120 won't fully connect. What I found was that 311 490 and 312 530 both connect and work.

There are many different kinds, could make one yourself for cheap but here is the one in your picture.
I searched Amazon for "dual mimo antenna bracket."

I can confirm T-Mobile stoped working on my Nighthawk mr1100 in about Feb. Tried multiple active sims, and no different. It will only connect at 3g speed, no LTE. not sure if they blacklisted my mr1100 specifically or all of them. I assumed it was just mine but maybe it was all of them as they did ...

Re: Sprint plan no longer working reliably...
I had a problem a couple weeks ago, the towers near me changed the earfcns that they were using. I assume to make room for t-Mobile 2500mhz 5g.
If you are setting earfcns/frequencies specifically these are the new working ones I have found to work now for me.

They look like the female connectors, just like those on a CoolPad. Thinking about buying a few different cables, they are cheap, and just see what ...

That I do not know, It doesn't seem to be a priority list, it will jump around a bit but not sure based on what. I know that if I don't put anything in this list it will connect initially but by the next morning it will need a power-cycle.

Yes you would like to do this...

Re: Need help finding tower locations for Mifi 8000 (Sprint)
Wow that is awesome!
With the MiFi 8000 you won't be able to lock on to a band but when positioning an antenna you will want to find the strongest location and then move about 1 degree at a time around your mounting pole. So if you can get to a real strong band 41 signal it would likely stay there ...

Re: Need help finding tower locations for Mifi 8000 (Sprint)
Well RSRP should be higher the better as it is a negative number. -89 is higher number than -111 and -89 is much better. SNR is a positive number so lower the better. Easy way to think of it is get all the numbers RSRP, RSRQ, and SNR as close to zero as you can get.

How about this for start. Take the MIFi 8000 up to the top of your roof and see what kind of speeds you can get. After that if speeds are way better up there then look into antennas.

Sorry to be clear two non-MIMO antennas gives you MIMO. 1+1=2 sort of thing but two antennas allows them to be positioned apart, even towards two different towers in some cases.

What type of antenna? It does sound like it is having trouble staying connected to band 66 with quality. Your RSRP is -110 which isn’t good
When you switch modems it can’t try to band 66 so it stays connected on a band it can communicate with. What RSRP do you get ok that other band?

You could go with that that is two antennas in one or you could do two of these and put them spaced out a bit at 45 degree angles. (Research MIMO for more info on positioning antennas)

I moved to the 4000D which is band 41 only. One thing to note is that the MiFi 8000 is band 25, 26, and 41. 25/26 go further but are slower.
Band 41 does not like yagi antennas and I strongly recommend a panel mimo antenna if you are going to stick with your MiFi 8000, but as that device does not ...
