Which modem module did you get in the unit? They have different options for different carriers.
ATT sells a mobile hotspot plan with 100GB of data for $55, you can order online or get it at any ATT store. Should work great as long as the modem used is on their whitelist of compatible modems.

Re: Can I use Quectel EG18 from a phone?
You would need a hot air station and a suitable module to put the modem in. That modem is soldered directly to the main board of the phone and all of it's auxiliary components are part of the main board. What you are basically wanting to do would be similar to pulling the processor out of a laptop ...

Re: need help to convert a TV yagi antenna into a 4G 5G antenna
It's not going to do you much good, even the UHF side of those antennas tops out around 960mHZ and nothing in that amplifier is meant to broadcast. You really do need dedicated LTE equipment to get things to work properly.

I'd check the tower heights, you might have a lot less obstruction than you think if those towers are 150m tall

I agree, we tried a couple different firmware versions and the newest Rooter was better but still not fixed. Only thing that "fixed" it was not using that tabletBillA wrote: Sun Jul 12, 2020 1:00 am There you go, turns out that it's a WiFi glitch, which is no surprise on these "cheesy" low end mobile routers. ;D

Re: MOFI4500 Locking Up, Dropping Internet - AT&T
My friend had one that was doing this same thing. He narrowed it down to happening every time his son connected to it with an older tablet and tried to watch something. For some reason that tablet connecting would trigger an event and lock up the router, since retiring the tablet they had had no ...

Re: Using multiple M2M boosters on external Yagis
I'm using them, inline M2M amplifiers. In my opinion they work great in my application, I needed a boost of some type to get a reliable band 4 connection given the terrain around me and going higher with the antennas was not an option(in a flyway near an airport). Without the boosters I get a good ...

You can usually put a different antenna on the boosters, what booster are you using?
You won't have any luck beaming service 1000' with a booster regardless of the antenna you use, you might be able to run a cable that far. With LMR600 cable you'd lose about 25db of signal strength just in the ...

Wifix WE826 and Ubiquiti switch
Currently have a Mofi up and running and have it connected to a Ubiquiti edgerouter that runs my wireless AP's scattered around the property. Re: Need good out side antenna for MOFI4500-4GXELTE
start by placing your mofi about 4' in front of the booster antenna and see what happens with the speed. It won't be ideal but those boosters do not work like you might think, signal strength drops off extremely quickly as you get farther from the indoor antenna. If you truly have weak signal the ...

Ubifi is just reselling an unlimited ATT service that does not appear to suffer from deprioritization it uses whatever bands ATT is broadcasting on in your area. Sprint might have better reception in your area.

Re: ZBT WG3526 - I can't visit some sites?
I was just looking for a solution for the same issue with a WE826 with an EM7565 on ATT. Turning of the "Use Builtin IPc6" on WAN1 seems to have solved the issue for me.
