I put a Quectel EM12G modem into a WG3526-P router and used my calyx SIM. Works great. No real special changes needed.

Re: AT&T Connection slow on WG3526
Important note to anyone using an ipad plan. If you generate an IMEI make sure it has LTE and not just WCDMA (some of them from certain sites will not include support for the LTE networks). I generated a new one and made sure it included LTE support and all is working now.
Is there a way to ...

Re: 4K HTPC Network Setup
Update: I got the nighthawk and set it up on the at&t plan. That has a wired connection to my ac1900 router and is working perfectly. I get a max of 15 down and 15 up, but it's usually about 5 down and 10 up. I'm going to be spending about $300 on an antenna setup in the future as long as the plan ...

4K HTPC Network Setup
I signed up with Calyx, and that was a failure because their coverage map wrong. I have a pocket wifi MFG975S that I can't use at home, and I'm still stuck on my crappy 3Mbps DSL. Here is the only good thing with my home network that I have to have in a new setup: I can stream 4K from my router ...

Re: Creating a home network
There are numerous ways you can configure your system depending on which device (outside or inside router) will acting as the DHCP server--assigning an IP address to computers, phones, laptop and other devices on the network.
Below is a rather crude diagram of two of many possible configurations ...

Creating a home network
This may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it when searching. Maybe I missed it in these tutorials. But my question is where does my cat6 cable go in order to create a network.
