Yeah, the EM919X modems can be a little finicky at times. I would just use putty (without using the script) to access the modem and run the following commands: AT!ENTERCND="A710";!IMAGE=0,0;!IMAGE=0,1;!IMAGE=0;!NVRESTORE=0 then, using the command below, substituting the 12,34,..... with your IMEI ...

It is thought that some carriers are retrieving and checking that the IMEI of a device also matches the serial number assigned to that device. The serial number on some of the modems may be updated must like the IMEI.

IMEI is only half the equation. You will also need to change the TTL value.
From my experience and unless something has changed, Verizon requires to a TTL of 65 or 117.
Not familiar with the process of changing the TTL on the MR5200--but I feel certain another member can share directions.

To use the EP06 on a PC, it must have a Mini PCI-E modem slot to install the modem. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a USB to Mini PCI-E modem adapter enclosure with a SIM card slot. Probably the easiest method is to see if there is a ROOTer/GoldenOrb build for your Linksys router. If so, install it on your router and set the Custom Firewall TTL's settings to 65. May try disabling IPV6 and use IPV4 only.
If you are using WiFiX/ROOter/GoldenOrb firmware, go to MODEM>CONNECTION PROFILE DEFAULT PROFILE > PROTOCOL TYPE > IPV4

Re: WE826 Checksum Failed
The initial issue is that you are trying to upload a .zip file.
You will need to extract it and upload the .bin file that is compressed within the .zip file.

What can I troubleshoot next? You may want to include a little more information as a starting place for others to assist you. Can you explain how you configured the router, and what steps you have taken to troubleshoot the issue? You may also refer to THIS tutorial to give you a starting place.
