Re: we1326 | ROOter updates | EP06
Update today
I was getting about 1-2 meg not a lot. Read a bunch of posts. Tried LTE only. reset modem to factory. Set it to the generic config. all of that made it worse..
Not sure if I am on old firmware or not.
Anyway not sure what to try next? I will look for more research tomorrow.

Hey All:
I hope everyone is well. I finally had some time to test the we1326. I put the latest firmware from here on on it. I have the ep 06a from quectel. On a ATT ipad plan. Mostly just testing and learning. The closest tower is about 1.1 miles away. Looks like with cellmapper it has bands 2, 5 ...

Re: Same but not the same?
So the T-Mobile group looks interesting.
So based on the info in the post seems like the resellers offer a better plan and price.
What would be an example of restrictions you mentioned. Also aren’t all of these resellers owned by the respective Main brand?

Re: PSA: AT&T Doing away with $35 iPad Unlimited.
Supposedly ATT will be coming out with new data plans, but my feeling is that it will be tiered by gigs and/or speed, and won't be cheap. There really aren't too many cheap and completely unlimited plans out there, and the ones from the main carriers are the most expensive.
Here's a rundown of ...

Re: Qotom Q355G4 Install
That's an interesting device... looks like it can run both Windows and Linux, but doubt it can run OpenWRT/GoldenOrb/WiFix. Nonetheless, on Windows you should be able to run Connectify (a software hotspot).
Oh, it can. I have OpenWRT 19 running right now on it. Normally I use this device for a ...

Has anyone installed on a small i5 x86-64 like the Qotom Q355G4 (http://www.qotom.net/product/29.html). They are fairly rugged and have a full sata port for ssd(if needed) Ram slots and 2 pcie slots.
