Re: WiFi Dropping on WE826-T2 w/ Sierra Wireless MC7455
We're still working through it. I have most devices disabled, and it seems to be fairly stable with just our laptops and printers connected. It does seem to crash if I have my laptop hard wired and then unplug the ethernet cable . . . something about when it switches to WiFi.
We have a Ring ...

Re: WE826go with mc7455 - disappearing from network
So just for a future generations ... I think the problem is/was in my power supply which was feeding 2A to the device. Apparently with higher traffic going through the router it became more hungry and drained more power which power supply did not survive. It's been 2 days and my router is working as ...

Re: WiFi Dropping on WE826-T2 w/ Sierra Wireless MC7455
Any update on this ? I seem to be having exactly the same problem here. Upgraded OS and now I am trying to figure out how to do sierra card firmware upgrade since I am not a windows user nor I have adapter where I would plug the card in to get it upgraded.

New router, see $SUBJ for details, disappearing from the network. Symptoms: wifi is available however IP connectivity is not. Trying to ping its IP address results into host unreachable. Anyone has any hints like to troubleshoot ? There is no serial connection, nor logs are being sent anywhere .. it ...

PagePlus - mc7455 possible ?
I just got a sim from PagePlus and I tried to activate it. After providing IMEI of my router they said that IMEI is not compatible and that's why they will not be able to activate my sim. "Is there anything else I can help you with ?" said lady and we closed our chat. So my question would obviously ...

Re: Question on Service Provider
Looks like that unlimited website is selling the standard ATT iPad Data Pass service in an automated way, without having to fill out ATT's confusing sign-up form, which is fine. While testing that pan last year, I was only getting about 30Mbps down max with 5 signal bars, which is usually fine for ...

Re: Question on Service Provider
The link in your title unlimitedserviceprovider.com doesn't seem to work (maybe a typo?)
Besides cost and coverage, you should pick a carrier carefully which will not throttle your speeds after a certain amount of regular or hotspot data usage.
The easiest way to tell if you have good signal in ...

Question on Service Provider
Hello,
What's your take on this provider? https://www.unlimitedinternetprovider.com/ claims that they have truly unlimited plans (ATT) and the only thing you need to pay is a SIM card + "activation fee" on their website. They are pretty responsive during business hours. Any experience with them ...

Re: advice needed - newbie
Id likely go with a high gain wideband omni antenna unless you know the line of site to your tower, but being in a valley, that may not work unless the tower is on the ridge of your valley and in sight line
I am in Virginia where everything is almost flat ... not that much hilly soil in here ...

Re: advice needed - newbie
There are ZERO plans from any carrier, currently offered, that are fully truly unlimited, but functionally the ipad plan is unlimited. After 22GB your tower that you are connected to will prioritize the traffic of other connections that arent past their deprioritizing limit first if the node is ...

Re: advice needed - newbie
ATT is the easy one. Ipad plan, prepay $35 a month, unless you get a post paid phone plan, then the ipad plan is $20 a month.
... and there are no limits whatsoever ? As I mentioned before, Verizon is the strongest candidate at that place however ATT could be an option too with extra antennas ...

Cart has we826go and mc7455 in it. Are there any recommendations for antennas ? Verizon has very strong signal there .. measured 74mbps on the cellphone for download and 25mbps upload. But with my luck in my life I bet I will end up with something very crappy ...

Re: advice needed - newbie
Hey there, welcome.
The Mofi4500 IS a WE826 with a Sierra MC7455 inside. Except the firmware is customized. The Wifix WE826 is great. I have one with a Sierra MC7455 inside, on ATT.
The wifi is 2.4Ghz only and I feel like its pretty strong, but some complain its lacking. You can always add wifi ...
