Re: Can LTE modems be repurposed as point to point wireless bridges?
I didn't think it'd be easy, and Mikrotik is one of the easiest brands to make a country code change on. But nothing I found on the cheap gets me to my BRS spectrum. Furthermore, if we don't build out and and use it, we lose it. So, since we're not rich, we were hoping to try use the spectrum for ...

Can LTE modems be repurposed as point to point wireless bridges?
OK STOP! Before anyone complains about legalities, lemme say this. I have FCC approval for use of band 41 @ 2.5GHZ in my designated territories....
Now then, has anyone successfully pointed 2 LTE cards of any make, and or model, at each other and got them to connect and act as a bridge?
No sims ...

@ jaybuds
Just realized I didn't actually answer your question.
The repositories sierrakeygen read me demonstrates the the software's usage.
if you just type in python3 sierrakeygen.py
Then the script itself will tell you what you need to give it.

Re: Mobile Citizen / Calyx Internet Service Change 5G Upgrade Required
Thanks all,
I deliberately attempted to abandon this thread once I knew what was involved with IMEI repair. But well, it looks like it grew anyway.
@radec: Yes Quectel Modems are dead simple, indeed atrociously easy, to make "repairs on the IMEI with." So much so, that I was considering buying one ...

Re: Mobile Citizen / Calyx Internet Service Change 5G Upgrade Required
Hmm not getting anywhere with the help of gscheb's suggested post....
In the goldenorb --> modem --> network menu the status forever says connecting but it never does, and debug information never shows that it even tries to, despite the new little T-mobile Franklin modem connecting with full bars ...

Re: Firmware Issues on the EM7455
Let's see,
The card was supposed to be generic, but it wasn't. So when I tried to flash the newest generic firmware to it, it failed putting the card into some kind of boot wait mode. That was after following the guides here telling me to use such and such a driver and then to reset the card to ...

Re: Firmware Issues on the EM7455
Well hmm. All attempts to use the windows method for fixing the card have failed.
I followed the TOOL KIT FOR SIERRA WIRELESS ISSUES all the way through. Even had to uninstall everything again and perform step 2. However, step 2 failed to install the drivers needed to define the card. So all I had ...

Re: Are usb to mini pci adaptors still needed?
So, in order to flash to generic firmware, I guess it's best to just go ahead and get the adapter. I've been eying this one https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/usb-to-mini-pci-e-adapter-enclosure/
but I guess it won't work with em cards?

Are usb to mini pci adaptors still needed?
When this forum was first born, about 1 year ago, I bought an em7455 and was gearing up for the task of flashing it with generic firmware etc, via the guides that existed before. But alas, the old forum shut down, those guides were lost, and for some reason facebook was the place to be. However such ...
