Re: Antenna mast build & grounds
Very interesting set up for sure. Do i really need to do this? I ran 30ft of LMR-400 directly from my Wilson antennas to my Mofi4500 using an old Dish-network mount that was already installed in my house. It was not grounded to begin with so I figured that it will be fine, but now looking at what ...

At the top is fine, just be sure to weatherproof all threaded connections exposed to the elements really well. He was correct that the arresters do not stop static electricity. I'm unfamiliar how the proxicast antennas are constructed so can't comment about the ground shielding in the lmr400 ...

Re: Antenna mast build & grounds
Hello,
Thanks for the photos it helps. Need to ground mine as well. It is on a very similar antenna tower like what you have. The thing I don't understand about these set ups. Is it really necessary to ground a TV tower antenna that is literally in the ground? My tower is over 3 foot in the ground ...

Re: Cradlepoint CBA850LP6 and amplifi mesh network help
Your problem is the b12 being only 5 mhz. That's the lowest possible and why I only recommend modems with 3 CA such as the Em7565. But it also depends on what the tower offers. U may want to check cellmapper.net to see bands available.

I have Em7565 on a mini PCI-E to M.2 adapter to work with my wg3526. Is it possible to take my Em7565 already mounted on mini PCI-E to M.2 adapter and plug it straight into this USB to mini PCI-E adapter to upgrade the firmware?

Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
B2(15mhz) with b66(10mhz)on 2nd and 3rd CA is what gives me the really high speed. Seems it only gives me this cell in mid afternoon or early morning when the network is not congested. When it switches cells on me it's just b66 alone. Speeds average 70/25 on just b66. I might play around with the ...

Re: Antenna mast build & grounds
That's what mine have as well. Only non N is the router sma's. N connectors are the absolute best for our application since they have the best frequency range, lowest signal loss, and have excellent waterproof capabilities due to the sealing inside of the connector. I think these ground kits are ...

Re: Antenna mast build & grounds
Just finished up my final grounding today. Definitely overkill, but we get a lot of thunderstorms in my area. In my research static electricity builds up in the atmosphere during thunderstorms and that static build up degrades the gas charge in lightning arresters. So not only do these wick away ...

I too almost bought a mofi before reading the reviews about thier customer support on Amazon. So glad I found thewirelesshaven.com! Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
Thanks. I'm getting very consistent speeds with the current setup. I'll average 50-60dl/25-30up during congestion times and when it's not congested it'll give me the faster band 2 that pulls 100-130dl/35-40up. It's operating in QMI since that's how it came. Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
FYI the EM7565 has a firmware bug that shows the main signal stats on B66 to be weaker than they really are. I noticed that in a couple of your screenshots. It's not an actual problem.

If THIS is the antenna you have you'll want 2 of them for MIMO. You will then need F male to sma male. Those are the most common ends for most antennas and routers. The cables to connect the antennas to the router can be found HERE . Read the descriptions on each, they explain very well on what's ...
