Whoa that's good to know about the combination order. I don't think I've ever seen that. I tried to spell everything out to help folks who logically search using whole terms. Seems to be the kicker with everyone abbreviating.

Did you happen to notice if it made a difference what band you were connected to? I was noticing on b41 I had a fine signal but it would frequently disconnect. but on b25 I can go weeks without a disconnect. Just curious if you noticed anything like that.

Just in case someone else is having the problem after scouring the forums for a similar problem I think I have found the fix. I'm not sure why it worked but going into Goldenorb network settings then SQM Qos and changing Queue Discipline from the default fq_codel to cake and the queue setup script ...

When you band lock, you disable carrier aggregation on a MoFi Sim-4

I fixed this problem by doing a Modem Firmware update using the sierra wireless support page.

That's a known issue in OpenWRT, where the startup script overwrites it at each restart.
The only way around it is by manually editing the /usr/lib/rooter/connect/create_connect.sh file as described here:

Update: Just for fun went back to a WiFiX set up. This time got a different router. Used a WE826-T2 with EM12 and kept IPV4V6 set up. Made it almost 24 hours before it disconnected. The other set up mentioned above went 4 fulls days with no disconnect. So it does seem that WiFiX/Rooter is the issue ...

Well I honestly haven't seen slow down on visible. The ping is high. If that doesn't matter to you it is alright. Basically same as Verizon with higher ping. Maybe other areas are different. But in the sticks where I am this is what I am seeing.

Just FYI, the modem in a Sim 7 Mofi is Cat 4, not Cat 6. Not that its impacting speeds in this scenario. Additionally - Boosters amplify everything, which includes signal noise which in my experience causes an erratic/less consistent data connection. There are high end boosters (3k plus) that have noise filters, but have never tested one.
