TTL and HL settings and how they help when modified
I am going to make this one as short as I can, and hopefully it can still help many without everyone needing to repeat this information over and over again. Note: If you respond to this post with anything that does not help the “article” it will be deleted. Please do not ask questions about your dev ...

Re: Visible TTL mangling - a poor noob down on his luck
Hello, If you are putting these in with a # in front of it that makes it ignore it. Must be listed with out # in front of it. Like these shown below. Go ahead and try that and see if that is it. Not sure since you are using a Wan interface instead of modem or tether. #start TTL rules iptables -t ...

Re: Visible TTL mangling - a poor noob down on his luck
Well allot of people are finding that. Requires higher TTL and VPN. Then others don't have to do that. Little over a month ago something changed with Visible. It is kind of odd. Sometimes mine will work with out vpn and higher TTL and other times it won't. But for what ever reason my computers ...

Re: Visible TTL mangling - a poor noob down on his luck
Surprisingly, this doesn't get mentioned much but the TTL modifications need to have the correct interface or its really not doing much of anything. In your case the device talking to the internet is the MR1100. The MR1100 is connected to the routers WAN port (eth0.2). Since you are using it in this ...

Re: Visible TTL mangling - a poor noob down on his luck
No. It just makes it much more difficult for the carrier to figure out anything from your data.
I'm sure they can tell that you are using a VPN which itself might be a useful piece of information for them.

My Ultimate LTE router using a Raspberry pi 4B
I set out on an adventure to dump my 3Mb/768k DSL in favor of LTE data. Little did I know the depth and breadth of the rabbit hole I was about to plunge into. My first big break was finding @swwifty's thread in this forum on building his router. Inspired by his RPi 3 build, I decided to replicate ...

Re: My Ultimate LTE router using a Raspberry pi 4B
Ok, time to update the build thread. I received my Sierra Wireless MC7565. I've been waiting for The Wireless Haven to open to buy their M2. USB3 enclosure, but I went ahead and bought a cheapo M.2 adapter off Amazon figuring I could at least get the modem software updated, which did indeed work ...

Re: My Ultimate LTE router using a Raspberry pi 4B
It's alive! Frankenrouter (as I've come to call it) is put together and installed. IMG_5604.JPG Inside is the Raspberry Pi 4B, the USB3 M.2 enclosure with a Sierra Wireless 7565. Also notice the heat management system. I drilled some tiny holes in the bottom of the case (you can see the inlet holes ...

Re: Visible Wireless Sim work??
Even if you didn't have the right TTL should still get the 5 down cap. Getting .75 is some other issue would think. 0.75Mbps sounds like a throttled speed, which could be due to several reasons. 1. Lack of signal (simple as that) 2. Wrong TTL which used up all the high speed hotspot data, and now ...

Re: Visible Wireless Sim work??
When you have set ups like this almost have to have two to make it dependable. Like one on visible and one on AT&T
