Re: iptables not effecting
All cellular modems set behind CGNAT (carrier grade NAT). No access from the outside unless on specific plans through the carrier. Reverse ssh tunnel is typical solution for most I think. Might explain your issues?

Re: Quectel EM160R-GL w/ Visible Stopped Working
Trust me, I understand that particular frustration. I had to figure out on my own that AT+QPRTPARA=1 makes the modem begin saving settings changes to the NVRAM. Until then it will not save a thing.

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
They changed something. TTL 64 is no longer working. I remember they changed it previously from 65 to 64, but now they changed something else along with TTL. It doesn't matter what TTL you type and reboot a router - it always 5 Mbps Down and 5 Mbps Up.

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
That means you do not have it set up right, for visible you need to repair the IMEI, FID, MEID, pESN, TTL for v4 and v6 or your device/account will get flagged everytime.

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
Agreed, Visible must be doing something else. constantly throttled to 5mb up/down. So far the only times I can get around this is to put the sim back in the phone and then spend the next 30 to 40 minutes with the online chat support until the actually "reprovision", or whatever they call it, the ...

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
I have the ISP TTL setting set for the linux-2 65 option in the Mofi, thats what it defaults to when I select visible as a carrier. IPv6 on the mofi I have disabled, not sure if that matters or not.
on my computer I have ran/set both IPv4 and IPv6 with these:
netsh int ipv4 set glob ...

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
check your ttl by pinging the mofi this will tell you the outgoing ttl, only worry about postrouting you need not worry about prerouting for ttl, you should set it on the device and not so much on the connected pc. I think the mofi's have a setting for it in their admin panel.

Re: Mofi 4500 being throttled on Visible?
I was wondering if anyone else was getting a 5mbps throttle. I've not made any changes since I
first noticed this, it seems to last for a day then reverts back to normal 75>90mbps speed. It only
happens occasionally. When it happens it seems to be an obvious throttling, as the speed test

Re: CGNAT for web server access workaround
ngrok is great tool although I think it's intended more as a developer tool than a production thing. I've used it when developing code that needs to receive webhooks etc. It's worked perfect for that. It's $60 per year if you want to attach a domain. The free version will give you a different URL ...

Re: T-Mobile CellSpot -non tmobile device connect
My guess is the cell booster is only boosting tmobile bands from a tmobile server. It isn't just boosting all cell towers radios in the area. They don't work like that

Re: T-Mobile CellSpot -non tmobile device connect
I'm not understanding your question I think.
Do you want the other non-t-mobile devices to be able to get a wifi connection and use data through a t-mobile hotspot connected to the CellSpot?
Or do you actually want a, just for example, AT&T device to be able to connect to T-mobile cell tower (the ...
