Re: MC7455 / EM7565 vs. Quectel EP06 IMEI Change
It's possible now thanks to bkerler https://github.com/bkerler/SierraWirelessGen to unlock Engineer Mode and issue the enhanced commands meant for testing purposes. Do some more digging and I believe you will find the answer. Sierra has pretty good modems unless you are on Sprint then I advise you ...

Re: FYI the external M.2 to USB modem adapter needs the lid off due to internal interference
So, i created a 3D printer .STL file to replicate the lid for the modem enclosure. I added a spot on the top for me to mount a 40mm fan as well to cool the modem. Here is the .STL file if anyone wants to make use of this. Will test the SINR later with and without the faraday tape as well, but ive ...

Re: Usb3 to m2 enclosure assembly

1. When connecting the antennas does it matter what side I put the split lock and and the Lock washer. I assume the lock is on the outside and the split lock washer on the inside?
Star washer inside, split on the outside.

Re: Orbi 5G (NBR750, NBK752) How-To / Megathread
Two questions...
Anyone attempt to update the firmware on the RM502 in this device? I didn't know if you could just get the latest and flash it manual via the GUI or if it would mess up what we have going on here.
Also wondering if anyone knows if the port labeled WAN/LAN can actually be used ...

Re: Orbi 5G (NBR750, NBK752) How-To / Megathread
FYI, the flash has plenty of space so I upgraded modem firmware by sending the most recent file from Quectel over to /tmp via SCP and running QFirehose -f /tmp/firmwaredirectoryname
And yes, after you update the modem firmware to the most recent Quectel branch you will get notices from ...
