The modem inside is a Telit LM960 modem if I recall correctly. It is'nt 5G ready as far as I know. For the AT commands you'll have to go with those. I';m fairly certain the ATTERM is a function of the router and will likely work fine with that modem.
I would go with a full set of antennas, 4 ...

Re: WE826GO-U not detecting the modem(EM7511)
As a general reference. Your above pictures show the router is seeing the modem just fine for general purposes, but for some reason the AT command port is missing. This is on the modem, not the router. the router looks in a specific spot for the AT commands and no where else. If that port has been ...

Good work!
So in the end, factory resetting the modem did the trick? That's great!

T-Mobile Home Internet has hidden MHF4 connectors for external antennas?
I've been using a WE826-T2 with Nomad's Wholesale Pink plan (T-Mobile). With external antennas, I have a decent D/L of 20Mbps and u/L of 5Mbps. I received my T-Mobile Home Internet yesterday and without external antennas, I have one signal bar at my location. with a D/L speed of 2-4Mbps and a u/L of ...

Re: T-Mobile Home Internet has hidden MHF4 connectors for external antennas?
I thought about starting a new thread but decided to just put it all here. I wanted to sum up what I have learned from here, reddit and the facebook group, and the interwebs in general. I'm still new to the LTE stuff so someone correct me if I get the terminology or something else wrong. I wouldn't ...

Quectel EM160 AT commands
As some of you may know, or have recently found out, the newest Quectel modems (EM160, EM120, RM500, RM510, RM502) do NOT use all of the same AT commands as the predecessor modems.
Here are a list of a few new commands and what they should do, and a list of commands that I've found not working ...

Re: WE826GO-U not detecting the modem(EM7511)
I stopped using the tablet line because Verizon suspended the line for the reason of switching device, worked so long to finally get to a technician to release my line and their technician told me that the policies are getting tougher for people to swap sims cuz the 5g came out. But fortunately, I ...

With the new openWRT 19.07 based rooter firmware you can add iphone tethering support. Its a pain, but it works.
You have to get ipheth and a few other related packages installed. Not the simplest thing, but it can work.

Re: WG1608 Setup help
Nice info! I am looking to build the same setup as well, but the firmware link for wg1608 is now unaccessible. I have browsed through the goldenorb site but not knowing which one is working best, do you happen to have back up download source of the firmware? Thanks a lot.

Finally made some progress. Got these supplies from Ali express.

Some sketchy soldering work. I'm honestly surprised I didn't kill it.

Re: PagePlus+Jetpack
Including Visible?
Can't do it on Visible, they use their own servers on top of Verizon's to slow down all data not just video, and also introduces a pretty high latency >150ms which makes gaming, voip and other time sensitive application useless.
You can get a PagePlus (Verizon towers) or ...

Re: T-Mobile Home Internet has hidden MHF4 connectors for external antennas?
I'm sure those connectors are not MHF-SW23. I have sample parts directly from IPEX which included one soldered connector to a blank PCB for insertion testing, and a MHF-SW23 to SMA bulk head and it will NOT connect to the connectors, they are not the right size compared to MHF-SW23. We need to ...

With help from jheld and other folks over at the rooter forum, I was able to get the 8200EA to work. The bulk of the praise goes to jheld. If you want to see how take a look at these two topics on the forum:

Re: New ZBT WG1608 5G-ready router + GoldenOrb firmware
Hi Bill, I am interested in buying either the FM150-NA or SIM8200EA-M2 since the ae version of rm500q is so hard to acquire, which one do you think is more user friendly for WG1608 with tmobile n41 nsa? I am still a new bird in the field, so I want to avoid as much tweaking/scripting as possible ...
