I was bandlocked on band 13 and I turned it to auto but it grabbed 13 again. After the subsequent reboot I was up to 2.3 mbps. Verizon and other carriers have lifted the throttle for some time during the pandemic, but they have all reinstated by now. So it's possible that's what you're experiencing ...
