Re: Need Advice on Modem Upgrade
...and whether you could set TTL to bypass hotspot detection on this propriety hardware with a locked down firmware...

Re: Need Advice on Modem Upgrade
I'm beginning to lean toward something that's a little more flexible than the M1 but not overly complicated. What are some good routers / devices that support openWRT AND usb>card modem? Or is this a bad idea?

Re: T-Mobile Plans: Prepaid vs. Postpaid
Postpaid customers are worth more to cell companies because they usually pay more per month for service and there is much less churn for postpaid accounts, vs prepaid. Their data speeds also are not de-prioritized.

Re: Need Help / Advice for Temporary Setup
So it's looking like changing TTL on my Mac or PCs does nothing to reclassify "hotspot data" on both iPhone and Android (moto g4). Not sure how others got this to work or if this is no longer possible.
Placing my SIM in the MOFI and setting TTL to 65 seems to reclassify traffic to "data" and I ...

Will do some digging and list the Rev of the NEW firmware.

Re: T-Mobile Home Internet
We are on a road trip from Texas to Minnesota. The T-Mobile trashcan gateway work all the way to MN in the back seat of the Mini Van :geek:
