Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
I might have something for you.
But just to concentrate on one thing. Please give a clear explanation of exactly what happens when you boot up after a fresh flash AND what is it that makes it stop working?
Im collecting that it seems to NOT be saving your parameter changes after a reboot ...

Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
When you've done a fresh factory reset on it, what AT commands do you send to it for setting it up the way you like? Any?
Do this one thing for me. Get it connected to the LTE the way you want. Before you reboot it to see if it did its silliness, send the following AT Command:
AT+QPRTPARA=1

Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
Did I kill it? Any follow up?
Sorry for late reply.
Life gets in the way sometimes you forget.
I still had issues with both of these modems even after trying your command. Kinda shevled the quectel modem projects and replaced them with Sierra cards. As one was my main connection at home where ...

Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
Whats worked lately with visible(verizon) and ATT is:
-Program the correct APN into the connection profile manager
-Remove all of the AT+CGDCONT entries, including AT+CGDCONT=1, via AT-Terminal window.
-Power cycle the router
Router will come up, program the correct APN and eventually connect ...

Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
You are correct when you switch SIM or when Quectel modem detects a different sim that it recognizes. It will switch to that carrier's MBN file (in this case it's Verizon) which gives you all the APNs that you see when doing AT+CGDCONT? When it doesn't recognize the SIM, it will switch to the ...

Re: Verizon carrier reject on CBA850 with MC400LP6(anyone else have this working?)
I have a cradlepoint CBA850 with an MC400LP6 modem which does not connect to Verizon.
I have used this SIM in a WiFix WE826GO and that works fine after following the information in this thread https://www.wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?p=11112#p11112
Your Cradlepoint is most likely doing the ...

Re: Verizon carrier reject on CBA850 with MC400LP6(anyone else have this working?)
Thanks. Unfortunately, I did all of that before I read your post. How do I delete the firmware?
Also where do I look up the AT commands for my modem?
Sorry about the basic questions, I'm a data guy and only do comms as needed.

Re: Verizon carrier reject on CBA850 with MC400LP6(anyone else have this working?)
But the weird thing is I can still only see one slot in the
system>system control>Modem firmware section.
The entry is :
Active Carrier Current Package
Checked Verizon Check for available firmware
I'm tempted to attempt another firmware load in this section but I think I'll wait until I ...

Re: Verizon carrier reject on CBA850 with MC400LP6(anyone else have this working?)
It shouldn't show any firmware after clearing the firmwares and carrier preferences. Maybe you need to remove the sim and try again and also delete the firmware. Then without the sim, try to load/update firmware manually from the post I linked. If it still doesn't work. Try my next suggestion below ...

How do you clear the carrier preferences?
Code: Select all

AT!IMAGE?
AT!IMAGE=0
AT!RESET
