Maybe a picture of the unit and one of bottom where model sticker is. Without that info really hard to give you advice.

You are missing the adapter, modem and jumpers:
Adapter: (for EM series modems): https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/m-2-ngff/mini-pci-e-to-m-2-ngff-key-b-adapter-with-bottom-sim-card-slot/
There is also adapter for MC series modems but do not see in store.

This is the thing they sent with this router thats supposed to be plugged in with it. It has two removable antennae also but they dont stay in and they are very clunky

Can you link us a picture to your 826? Also what is the exact model on the sticker on the bottom? I'm curious.

Doing some looking at what you have it appears to be a small battery powered hotspot made by ZTE. It does have a external antenna connection so it would be possible to add an external antenna. I could not make out if it was MIMO with two antenna option however. My experience with external antennas ...
