Re: WG3526 with Quectel EP06 modem shows “connecting” continuously
I am wondering if the modem configuration has somehow changed. After you are certain the APN is correct, you may try resetting the modem to its OEM state (use at your own risk):
AT+QPRTPARA=3
Then, give it a minute or two and hard boot the router.
Once it boots up, promptly go to the debug ...

Re: EM06-A : Need Help, modem isn't working after a power outage
Whats worked lately with visible(verizon) and ATT is:
-Program the correct APN into the connection profile manager
-Remove all of the AT+CGDCONT entries, including AT+CGDCONT=1, via AT-Terminal window.
-Power cycle the router
Router will come up, program the correct APN and eventually connect ...

Re: Verizon and Quectel EP06
I have an EM20-G, currently running on an ATT plan, but will be switching to Verizon. I would like to "repair" my modem IMEI so that it matches the phone I will utilize to activate a Verizon plan. My understanding is that it is possible with this modem (AT command??). Is there additional information ...

Re: LTE Modem / E20 or EM7565
First. The EM20 is a product no longer made. You'll have to get a rare new one or find a used one. The EM160 is soon to release and all the latest "5G" modems are 4x4 MIMO. That or the Telit LM960A18, Sierra 7690, and some of the SIMCOM and Fibocom modems are 4x4 MIMO. I only have experience so far ...

Re: NEXR5GO | EP06 | modem present; no connectivity
Thanks for taking a look I'll monitor the thread
"I" figured it out, via Jim helms suggestion ;), you have to downgrade the firmware on the EP06 to an older version. For whatever reason Quectel has changed the way their firmware is recognized on the USB bus. The WG3526P and the NEXQ6GO has been ...

Re: NEXR5GO | EP06 | modem present; no connectivity
Well done thank you to you and Jim both. I'm currently looking for older firmware to give this a try. If you (or anyone) has a source to download the firmware I'd be grateful.
Also, is there a different procedure to downgrade the firmware on this modem, or does it work the same as an upgrade ...

Re: Thoughts on Mikrotik RBM11G / RBM33G
I have the RBM33G that I purchase several months ago. It was a little tricky getting the Rooter firmware on the device but after that its just like any other router device, except it has dual sim, muliple gigabit LAN, wide range of DC input for power including poe, usb 3.0 and dual onboard pcie ...

Re: Thoughts on Mikrotik RBM11G / RBM33G
I've got the RouterOS to see my modem and that is about it. I can send AT commands and get responses. It can see my sim and IMEI of my modem. It even will scan and tell me that there is a Verizon tower near me, just nothing past that.
I'm way out of my depth with the MikroTiK firmware RouterOS ...

Re: Thoughts on Mikrotik RBM11G / RBM33G
I'm still banging my head on the Routerboard ROS firmware. There is a steep learning curve when compared to a consumer router GUI. I'm using Beta Ver7.xx

Re: Configuring SIM8200EA
I just ordered the Waveshare Raspberry pi hat with radio. Guess it's a little pricey I liked the idea of the kit. Looking forward to tinkering with it.

Hah, well alright then...
Yeah, being able to PM would be nice.
The board is a great source of info to get up to speed, I try to give back to offset what I take.
My setup is "in progress"... as soon as I have some meat on the bone, I will share more.
