Re: POE Splitter for WG3526 (non-P version)
Pretty sure they're 2.1mm. I use a 2A splitter and it works fine with my em12-g, though a 2.5A would probably be better. As for the injector, a 30w should suffice for a 2A splitter, but a 45w or 60w is generally recommended as it will support longer ethernet runs and not be always pushing near its ...

Re: PSA: AT&T Doing away with $35 iPad Unlimited.
Just another update -- I'm still using the iPad plan, so it certainly does seem like only high data users are getting kicked.
To be fair, did you really expect to not be booted for using north of 400GB a month?
If carriers claim unlimited, then it should be truly unlimited (like Tmobile ...

WAN Bonding with ROOter and OpenMPTCProuter
Here's another post I did earlier this year on the ROOter forum, which is now a bit difficult to find. I did this post in late January, and I've since moved from the Raspberry Pi 4B to a Qotom x86 (i3) industrial PC with 4x gigabit Ethernet ports, 2x USB3 and 2x USB2 ports. OpenMPTCProuter needs an ...

Re: MOFI 4500 with EM7565 Modem
That is kind of what I thought but wanted to ask around.
How does the Golden Orb firmware compare to the Mofi firnware?
Also, any idea if there is a substantial gain from moving to the EM7565 over the MC7455 when used in the Mofi box running a different firmware?
I have your answer! I also ...

Re: New ZBT 5G-ready router WG1608 + GoldenOrb firmware
Where are you guy sourcing these from? I may be interested in buying one, but so far prices appear above $530 US for single piece orders from China.
The high price is due an included (not so great) modem. The router alone is around the same cost as the WG3526, you can either import it or wait ...

Re: Testing with SimpleMobile
Do you have some reports/posts on other forums to share or it's exclusively feedback from your internal group?
Is this meant to assist those with the EC25-AF on Tmobile/Simple?
How would this solution work?
This is the 3rd EC25-AF in a row that got hotlined on Simple within hours of use.
I ...

Re: Poynting XPOL-2-5G Antenna (A-XPOL-0002-V3-01) Review
I've seen better signal with stock omnis in the right spot inside the house than I have with even my parabolic grid in the attic.. There's just too much attenuation up there.. It's probably even worse for me because of the radiant barrier, but getting the antenna outdoors was a solid 25dbi gain.

Re: EM12-G Carrier Aggregation AT&T
Well didney has a15 for you to revert back with if goldenorb doesn't like a20.. I'd go for it if it were me. Also, could you paste that link? I don't want to try typing it from the picture 😂
FW link will be expired in on week.

Re: Em12 only using one antenna?
MBIM is an older control interface for modems, while it's pretty universal, it's an extra layer for the data to go through, therefore increasing pings times. The newer QMI mode is the preferred method providing a more advanced and direct control over the modem with lower ping times and performance.

My Ultimate LTE router using a Raspberry pi 4B
I set out on an adventure to dump my 3Mb/768k DSL in favor of LTE data. Little did I know the depth and breadth of the rabbit hole I was about to plunge into.
My first big break was finding @swwifty's thread in this forum on building his router. Inspired by his RPi 3 build, I decided to replicate ...

Re: EM7455 - WE826 - AT&T Connection Issues
Issue was resolved. Updating drivers and firmware via Windows must not have 'stuck'. After utilizing the following script I was able to obtain the factory IMEI and a connection.
I did have to rewrite a small portion(hardcode a variable) of the script as its outdated. I plan on creating a Windows ...

Re: ZBT WG1608, EM20-G, Page Plus, stuck connecting
This may or may not help, but when I had similar issues, Yipzy's advice sorted me out:

I ran these commands and then rebooted the router and then input the APN again (through the UI)
