Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
I'm not sure what your speed expectations are, but you want as much bandwidth as you can get. It is possible that there are other bands on those CIDs and you aren't seeing them, because your modem can only do 2 carrier aggregation. A 3 or 4 carrier aggregation modem may provide more bandwidth on ...

Re: WG3526 connection problems - no signal, AT!GSTATUS? fails
I also just noticed that your firmware build numbers don't match your carrier configuration (the PRI lines) in the AT!IMAGE? results. One of them matches your preferred firmware build number and the other one matches your current firmware build number. Something doesn't seem right there.

Re: WE1326 question
Good question! I haven't looked at mine close enough to tell and it did seem like more should have been in use. Interested in hearing what others have to say. It might be a limitation of router firmware too.

Re: WE826-T2 router
According to Sierra, power consumption can also depend on bands which I found interesting.
That is an interesting find. I wonder if they truly mean B66 is special or if they mean it has 20MHz available, so more power to deal with the higher throughput? Although, if that were the case, why would ...

Re: Is anyone using T-Mobile Rural with good results?
If I try it with my phone SIM in the LTE router, I'll report back on the results.

Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
There is a build of the WiFiX firmware that apparently has a login option where you can get the signal stats updated in near realtime instead of having to run the command manually in the misc modem screen. I think this would help you greatly in aiming the antennas. If you have a hand held signal ...

Re: 26 dBi ultra wide-band parabolic grid antenna
HA! So you don't *know* which tower the 166 Mbps came from. That is damn fast, and at such a distance. But it does make me think of searching for Walter in On Golden Pond: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_h8C_rCbgU You know he's out there somewhere now!

Re: cannot ping WE826-T2 with T-mobile Quectel EC25-A
When you say IPv4 address, do you men the LAN side address?
As for the external IP, cellular providers use carrier-grade NAT. You are being given a private IP address on the WAN side of that modem -- Private inside T-mobile's network. When you get your external IP by going to a website that tells ...

Re: WAN Bonding with ROOter and OpenMPTCProuter
Nothing to do with the questions above, but for people reading who are interested in what people are using and how their network are set up, mine consists of the following currently:

Re: Latency Issues? (Solved: QMI > MBIM)
The change does survive reboots. To get your pre-changed values, run these commands, one at a time:
at!entercnd="A710"
at!usbcomp?
usbcomp is a password protected command, hence the need to supply the default password of "A710" first. They are protecting you from shooting yourself in the foot. If ...
